Always feel that the stool is not clean, or have the intention of stool, there is a foreign body feeling at the anus, the feeling of falling is very strong …… these feelings make people really uncomfortable, always want to go to the toilet squatting, but no matter how squatting, can not be discharged, really distressing. This is likely to be the anal sinusitis in the play Oh.
Sinusitis! For most people, it is still a relatively unfamiliar term. In fact, it is one of the more common anorectal diseases, as the name implies, is an inflammation of the anal sinuses. To know what sinusitis is all about, we have to start with the anatomy of the anal sinus.
The anatomy of the anal sinus
The anal sinus, a body tissue that grows near the anus, is located at the junction between the anal skin and the intestinal mucosa, and is an “easily injured” weak link.
Why is this so? Because of the large diameter of the rectal mucosa and the small diameter of the anal canal skin, the junction of these two parts will form many folds, which also form the anal sinus tissue. The sinus tissue is open upwards, like the funnel used in life. It normally secretes some fluid to lubricate the intestinal tract, ensure the smooth passage of stool, and protect the rectum. The upward opening of the anal sinus is an anatomical defect, so if the stool is thin or if fecal debris is dropped into it, it is difficult to get out by gravity, which makes it easy to inflame over time.
Clinical manifestations
1. pain in the anus during defecation and very clear localization.
2. it is often posterior to the anus because it is the place with the highest pressure in the anal canal.
3. In addition, it is accompanied by a sensation of foreign body in the anus, discomfort, and a feeling of anal canal downward and purulent anal discharge.
Treatment
1.Conservative treatment.
(1) local sitz bath with warm salt water to keep the area clean.
(2) Local use of hemorrhoid suppositories or hemorrhoid cream.
2.Surgical treatment.
The sinusitis by drug treatment is not effective, or the anal sinus has become an abscess, or with anal papillary hypertrophy and hidden fistula patients, it is appropriate to use surgical treatment, as long as the treatment methods are anal sinusotomy and anal sinus excision.
Prevention
1. dietary regulation, eating more vegetables and fruits, drinking more water, forbidding chili peppers and prohibiting alcohol consumption.
2.Keep the bowels open and prevent constipation.
3.Keep the anus clean and dry, and take a salt water bath.
