The most common types of thyroid cancer are follicular carcinoma and papillary carcinoma, and microscopic thyroid cancer is an early stage lesion. All of the thyroid gland on the affected side can be removed, the isthmus can be removed, and a small part of the gland on the opposite side can be preserved, and the lymph nodes can be cleared, mainly the sixth group of central lymph nodes. After surgery, the thyroid function should be reviewed regularly and if there is hypothyroidism, oral thyroxine tablets should be used for replacement therapy. Ultrasound and CT of the neck should be reviewed regularly.
