Venous thrombosis of the lower extremities is currently in the midst of epidemiologic statistics, some cases are not yet diagnosed, and the exact number of people affected is not yet known. Compared to other diseases, not many people suffer from lower extremity venous thrombosis. There are no complete statistics on the number of patients with lower extremity venous thrombosis. The main causes of lower extremity venous thrombosis are slow blood flow, endothelial damage, and hypercoagulability of the blood, which is why some patients who have undergone major surgery for braking, the elderly, patients with tumors, pregnant women, patients with severe trauma, and patients who are bedridden for long periods of time are among the groups of people who are more susceptible to lower extremity venous thrombosis. If the patient only has thrombosed superficial phlebitis of the lower limbs, usually after proper treatment, he can get a relatively good recovery, if there is deep vein thrombosis of the lower limbs, or even thrombus dislodgement occurs, there is a risk of sudden death. If venous thrombosis of the lower limbs is diagnosed, it is recommended that standardized treatment be carried out as soon as possible in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
