How to delay menstruation

Menstruation is regular and cyclical and is one of the outward signs of mature reproductive function. This bleeding is the result of ovarian follicle maturation, ovulation and corpus luteum formation, and changes in the endometrium from hyperplasia to secretion. During follicular development, the amount of estrogen secretion is very small, but as the follicle matures, estrogen secretion gradually increases, forming a peak before ovulation and slightly decreasing after ovulation. When the corpus luteum matures about 7-8 days after ovulation, another peak is formed, but the second peak is flatter and the mean value of the peak is lower than the first peak. When the corpus luteum atrophies, estrogen levels drop sharply and reach their lowest level just before menstruation. Some girls may have a feeling of lower abdomen and lumbosacral downward movement during menstruation, and individuals may have symptoms of bladder irritation (such as frequent urination), mild neurological instability (such as headache, insomnia, mental depression, easy agitation), gastrointestinal disorders (such as nausea, vomiting, constipation or diarrhea), and nasal mucosal bleeding, but they are usually not serious enough to affect their studies. In general, a woman’s menstrual period has a little relationship with her emotional cycle. When the estrogen in a woman’s body is elevated, she will become more cheerful and look more beautiful. However, after ovulation and before menstruation, some people experience premenstrual syndrome, such as swollen and painful breasts and bloated abdomen. If a woman is having her period, it may have an impact on important life events, but if you don’t adjust your menstrual period according to the physiological changes, it may cause confusion in the future, or you may find that your period is still on schedule after adjusting it, making it a waste of time. Therefore, when it is necessary to adjust the menstrual cycle, it is important to make some careful adjustments with reference to the individual’s physiological clock. If a girl’s menstrual cycle is already special, such as once a quarter or once a year, it is recommended that she simply “bet” once, “bet” that it is not coming. When a person is under tension and stress, the pituitary gland will secrete insufficient amounts of ovarian stimulating hormones to make her menstruation not come at all. This is why girls with very normal cycles often have periods that do not come or are delayed during midterms or finals. Women whose menstrual cycle is close to the time of the event can make their periods delayed; after all, big events don’t last too long. The onset of menstruation in the human body is when luteinizing hormone is insufficient, so if you continue to give luteinizing hormone to increase its concentration when it is almost insufficient, you can achieve the effect of delaying menstruation. Menstruation on the same day as the event can be started on day 24-26 with 6-10mg of progesterone or 10mg of progesterone injected intramuscularly daily for about six or seven days, and the drug can be stopped by the end of the day. After stopping the medication, the progesterone in the blood will come down in about two days and the menstruation will come, and things will be over just then. This method has certain side effects. Some people have poor absorption ability and are unable to absorb certain luteinizing hormones and most of them are excreted in the gastrointestinal tract, so they are unable to maintain a high concentration of luteinizing hormone in the blood, instead causing a low concentration; some people have a high level of luteinizing hormone, so when the dose given is not enough or is poorly absorbed, menstrual regulation will be ineffective. If the menstrual regimen is consistent with the pattern of estrogen, the next menstrual cycle should not be too different from the current one. Therefore, if the menstrual cycle is to be adjusted according to the physiological cycle, the next menstrual cycle should be approximately the same as the original one. Finally, it should be emphasized that adjusting the menstrual cycle is an artificial control of the normal menstrual physiology of the human body, which is not in accordance with the physiological mechanism of the human body, so it should be adjusted as little as possible, except in special cases.
