Fatty liver is a pathologic lesion of the liver caused by excessive accumulation of fat in the liver. Fatty liver usually refers to alcoholic fatty liver caused by alcohol abuse and non-alcoholic fatty liver caused by obesity. After the liver cells are damaged, the ability to participate in fat metabolism is relatively poor, resulting in the fat entering the liver cells cannot be completely metabolized, and the accumulation of excessive fat in the liver eventually induces fatty liver. Fatty liver can be induced by frequent consumption of fatty food, overeating and excessive obesity; it can also be induced by chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypothyroidism. Patients with fatty liver are recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to find out the cause of their fatty liver and then use standardized medication under the guidance of a physician, and at the same time, they should have a low-fat and low-salt diet and control their body weight.
