How many months can babies sit in the walker

For the walker, it is recommended to use it after the baby has experienced crawling practice and can stand on its own, generally after the baby is 10 months old. The walker should not be used for too long each time, generally 15-20 minutes is appropriate. It should be noted that because the baby’s joint strength is weak, flexible, easy to deform, too early or too often use the walker, the weight from the body is easy to make the knee joint turned out, may form “O-leg”. If the walker strides too high, the baby is forced to tiptoe in the process of learning to walk, easy to develop the bad habit of tiptoe walking, which is not good for the child’s growth and development. At the same time when using the walker, parents should place the walker on a flat, open place, always pay attention to the baby’s movements to prevent the walker from falling over or touching dangerous things and injuring the baby. When carrying the walker, first hold the baby away from the walker to avoid the baby falling out of the walker and causing injury. It is recommended that parents stop using the walker after the baby learns to walk upright. Babies learn to walk upright is a natural growth and development process, as long as parents can give their babies some assistance at this stage and leave the walker, they may learn to walk more quickly.
