Can you ride a bike with bleeding hemorrhoids?

Bicycling is not recommended for bleeding hemorrhoids to avoid aggravating the condition.
Hemorrhoids are the most common anorectal disease, a venous stasis in the anus and rectum, similar to varicose veins, and can be divided into internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, and mixed hemorrhoids. Patients with external hemorrhoids may experience swelling, itching, or pain around the anus with bleeding; patients with internal hemorrhoids experience little discomfort and may only experience painless bleeding during defecation; patients with mixed hemorrhoids may experience both of these symptoms.
Patients with hemorrhoids can ride bicycles for a short period of time if they have no symptoms, but if they are bleeding, bicycling is not recommended. Riding a bicycle may lead to aggravation of hemorrhoidal symptoms due to local friction irritation, and hemorrhoidal bleeding may also be aggravated during exertion.
It is recommended that the patient go to the regular hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor for treatment. Usually pay attention to light diet, develop good defecation habits, pay attention to local hygiene.
