Is it cervical spondylosis if I twist my neck with a ringing sound?

Nowadays, whether people live or work, have been unable to leave the computer, cell phones and other electronic products, and to use these products, usually need to maintain a posture for a long time. In the long run, the consequences are prone to cervical spine lesions. Many people have had the experience that is easy to turn the neck “click”, although there is no obvious discomfort in the process, but in the cervical spine disease is increasing today, but also inevitably some doubt whether it is caused by cervical spondylosis, then twist the neck with a loud sound is related to cervical spondylosis? This is the problem we want to solve today. Twisting the neck has a “click”, which in academic terms is called cervical spine popping, that is, refers to the head and neck activities due to the cervical vertebrae joints rubbing against each other to make a short sound. So what are the causes of such “clicking” sound? 1, is when the small joints of the cervical vertebrae maintain a posture for a long time, the lubricating fluid between the joints will be reduced, joint friction increases and produces a ringing sound. 2, is when the neck does rotational activities, the soft tissues around the vertebral body, such as tendons, ligaments, joint capsule slide through the vertebral bones of various parts of the sound; 3, is when the neck does rotational activities, one side of the small joint open, which will lead to the formation of negative pressure in the small joint cavity, so that the gas dissolved in the surrounding tissue fluid into the small joint cavity, when the neck reverse rotation, the original open small joint cavity again When the neck is rotated in the opposite direction, the small joint cavity that was open closes and the gas that entered is squeezed out of the joint cavity, which will also produce a popping sound. 4. There are some pathological conditions that may also produce a popping sound, such as calcification of the cervical ligament. From this, we can conclude that there are physiological factors and pathological reasons for the ringing sound that occurs when the neck is twisted. Some factors are not related to cervical spondylosis, while others, may just be related to the cervical spine. It is best to have a professional examination of exactly what the problem is, so as not to delay treatment as a result.
