Recurrent fever caused by inflammation in children can be cured in a few days

Children with recurrent fevers caused by inflammation can usually recover completely in 3-5 days after active treatment, but if the inflammation is more serious, such as recurrent fevers caused by pneumonia, the treatment time may be slightly longer, possibly up to half a month. First of all, the cause of the child’s inflammation should be determined, and blood tests and mycoplasma antibodies should be performed to see if the infection is viral, bacterial, or caused by mycoplasma. If there is an elevation of white blood cells in the routine blood, it is a bacterial infection and needs to be treated with intravenous antibiotics, such as ceftriaxone or cefoperazone, or penicillin-like drugs if the penicillin is not allergic. If the infection is viral, there is often no elevation of white blood cells in the routine blood, and antiviral drugs can be used for treatment, such as busulfan anti-inflammatory oral solution or ribavirin. If there is a positive Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody, the fever is caused by mycoplasma infection, which needs to be treated with azithromycin.
