What symptoms should patients experience after ureteroscopy to go to the hospital promptly?

Ureteroscopic lithotripsy can be discharged 2 to 3 days after the procedure, because the ureteral stent is left in the body, the doctor will usually explain: less activity, drink more water, do not hold urine, and consult the doctor promptly if there is obvious discomfort. After hospitalization, patients often have mild hematuria, painful urination, frequent urination, and a sense of incomplete urination, etc. They are usually instructed to drink more water and rest, which can be alleviated naturally. If there is blood clot in hematuria, urinary frequency and urgency is severe and cannot be tolerated, or if there is fever, promptly go to the hospital for medical consultation. If you have a ureteral stent in your body, be sure to go back to the hospital and have the ureteral stent removed as instructed by your doctor. If you forget and leave the stent in your body for too long, it will grow stones and make it difficult to pull out the stent, remember.
