Early surgery is needed for children with corneal leukoplakia

Children with congenital corneal clouding should have surgery as early as possible. Otherwise, the visual system will not be developed and the surgery will not improve vision when they grow up. Having the surgery now will enable the visual system to develop, so that even if rejection occurs in the future, you will have vision when you grow up and do it again. This child had a corneal transplant at 4 months old and was not even sensitive to light before the surgery, but could grasp things after the surgery.
