Most people only see bone spurs on X-rays during examinations without clinical symptoms. If the spur compresses the cervical blood vessels and nerves, symptoms such as dizziness, headache, neck stiffness, dry eyes, blurred vision, numbness and pain in the upper limbs may occur; if it affects the sympathetic nerves in the front of the spine, symptoms such as panic and chest tightness may occur; if it squeezes the spinal cord, symptoms such as numbness and weakness in the limbs, or even urinary incontinence and tetraplegia may occur.
