What to do about vasospasm

What to do about vasospasm depends on the specific location of the vasospasm, the degree of stenosis, the clinical symptoms, and the combined underlying disease of the patient. Vasospasm should be treated for its etiology and the cause should be identified, especially to strengthen the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. Patients with coronary artery spasm should be actively given antiplatelet, coronary artery dilation, vasospasm relief and lipid regulating drugs to dilate coronary arteries and increase coronary blood flow through nitrates, thus reducing myocardial ischemia and improving the clinical symptoms of patients. Patients are also advised to change their lifestyle by giving a low-salt and low-fat diet, eating more fresh vegetables and fruits, controlling body weight, quitting smoking and alcohol, exercising in moderation, avoiding overexertion, colds and emotional excitement, thus avoiding coronary artery spasm leading to myocardial cell ischemia and hypoxia. Patients with cerebral artery spasm should use cerebral vasodilators, such as calcium antagonists, vincristine, cipro, etc., to dilate blood vessels and improve blood flow, which can prevent the occurrence of cerebral artery spasm. Long-term application of aspirin antiplatelet, prevention of thrombosis, anticoagulation therapy is mainly for patients with frequent attacks, severe disease, as well as aggravation by aggravation, antiplatelet drugs are not effective and there is no obvious contraindication to anticoagulation therapy. Anticoagulation therapy is to be administered as early as possible.
