The best time for babies to cut their eyelashes

There is no best time to cut eyelashes for infants, so it is not scientific to say that cutting eyelashes will make your child’s eyelashes longer. The growth of eyelashes has a certain survival cycle, and babies’ eyelashes normally shed naturally in 4-6 months, after which new eyelashes grow out of the hair follicle to the same length as the previously shed eyelashes. Eyelashes mainly play a protective role for the eyes, blocking dust, dirt and other damage to the eyes. If the eyelashes are too short, they may lead to blepharitis in children. Therefore, there is no need to cut eyelashes if there is no disease condition such as ingrown eyelashes, so there is no best time to cut eyelashes. The length and thickness of eyelashes are genetically and nutritionally dependent and vary from person to person. Parents are advised to take care of their children’s nutrition in their daily lives and not to blindly try to cut their baby’s eyelashes on the basis of rumors.
