What to do with amblyopic eyes

Amblyopia is a condition in which the cause of amblyopia is sought and treated accordingly. 1) Refractive error or refractive error amblyopia, which requires correction with lenses and insistence on wearing lenses. 2) Strabismic amblyopia, which requires correction of strabismus if the amblyopia is caused by strabismus. 3) Form deprivation amblyopia, which includes ptosis, cataracts, and corneal scar formation due to keratitis. If the amblyopia is due to the above causes, appropriate etiological treatment should be performed, including correction of ptosis, cataract removal, and surgery such as corneal transplantation.
