How to distinguish between thyroid and pharyngitis

The difference between thyroid and pharyngitis is mainly manifested in the following points: 1. the site of onset is different, thyroid disease occurs in the thyroid gland, while pharyngitis occurs in the throat. 2. the cause of onset is different, thyroid gland is clinically mostly thyroid nodules or thyroid tumors, the exact cause of onset is not clear; pharyngitis is caused by bacterial inflammation of the throat or even the oral cavity, as well as viral infection. 3. The majority of thyroid disorders include thyroid nodules or thyroid tumors, which usually have no obvious clinical symptoms, but are simply painless lumps in the neck that move up and down with swallowing, and cannot even be found on the surface of the body when the tumor or nodule is small. Pharyngitis usually manifests as a foreign body sensation in the throat, or even congestion and edema in the throat, and can even cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea in severe cases.
