Hysteroscopy
(I) Indications
1.Abnormal uterine bleeding before and after menopause.
2.To diagnose or decide whether submucosal fibroids or endometrial polyps can be removed via the cervix.
3.Location or trial removal of lost intrauterine device.
4.Evaluate abnormal uterine tube iodine oil imaging. Song Tao, Department of Gynecology, Weifang Maternal and Child Health Hospital
5.Evaluation of abnormal uterine echo and/or occupying lesion by ultrasound.
6.Diagnose uterine malformation, uterine adhesions and try to separate them.
7.Examine the cervical canal and/or intrauterine causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion and pregnancy failure.
8.Probe intrauterine factors of unexplained infertility.
9.Follow up after intrauterine surgery.
10.Early diagnosis of cervical canal cancer and endometrial cancer.
(II) Contraindications
There is no clear absolute contraindication, but the following are relative contraindications
1.Vaginal and pelvic infections.
2.Multiple uterine bleeding.
3. Those who want to continue the pregnancy.
4. Recent uterine perforation.
5. Excessive narrowing of the uterine cavity or a stiff cervix that is difficult to dilate.
6.Infiltrating cervical cancer.
7.Severe medical disorders that make it difficult to tolerate uterine dilatation.
8.Tuberculosis of the reproductive tract without anti-TB treatment.
9.Hematological disease without follow-up treatment.
