The normalization of blood and urine amylase in patients with pancreatitis on reexamination includes the following reasons: 1. It is possible that pancreatitis occurs very early and blood and urine amylase is not yet elevated, at which time blood collection will reveal that the amylase value is within the normal range, but the patient already has initial clinical symptoms. 2. It may be due to the fact that the patient is recovering from pancreatitis. In the process of recovery, blood and urine amylase will gradually return to normal, which is a manifestation of the recovery of the pathological process. 3, relatively more complex and serious, especially in hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis, due to the massive destruction of the pancreas, after the necrosis is not able to secrete amylase, the measured amylase is normal, or even low. But it does not mean that the condition of pancreatitis is improving, on the contrary, it may be a sign of aggravation of the condition.
