Sinus cancer can be detected by rhinoscopy. Sinus tumor sites are hidden and early clinical symptoms are not obvious. If it is an outpatient encounter with unilateral progressive nasal congestion, nasal bleeding, patients over 40 years old, and symptoms such as toothache and facial numbness, this is the time to consider rhinoscopy. Rhinoscopy is a relatively simple examination and can usually be seen if the tumor is growing in the nasal cavity. If the tumor grows not in the nasal cavity but in the sinus, there is a limitation to do rhinoscopy and it may not be able to see the sinus cancer. At this time, the diagnosis rate will be improved by the combination of other auxiliary examinations, especially CT and MRI.
