It is mainly used for the treatment of hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular diseases caused by atherosclerosis. The common side effects of Lipocon include gastrointestinal discomfort, occasional increase in serum glutamic transaminase, glutamic aminotransferase and creatine kinase, and rare side effects such as fatigue, dizziness, headache, myalgia and skin rash, but it does not cause significant side effects on kidney.
