The survey results released by the Chinese Population Association show that China’s infertility patients have now exceeded 40 million, accounting for 12.5% of the population of childbearing age. More than 20 years ago, the infertility rate among people of childbearing age in China was only 3 percent. Among the rapidly growing number of infertility patients, the majority are between the ages of 25 and 30. The concept of marriage and childbirth among young people nowadays is very different from that in the past. Unmarried cohabitation and premature sex lead to abortion too freely, and repeated abortions cause tubal obstruction, thin endometrium and uterine adhesions, which are the primary factors causing female infertility. The more fertile the seed, the easier it is for it to take root and sprout. But each abortion is a serious injury to the endometrium and reproductive health, not only is it not easy to conceive, but also easy to miscarry. In addition, premature and unclean sex can easily lead to inflammation of the fallopian tubes and pelvis, which can lead to infertility. Late marriage, divorce and remarriage and career-oriented phenomena have caused some women to miss the best fertility period. Excessive late nights and tremendous work pressure is another important reason for the rapid increase in infertility rate. In the case of women, endocrine disorders and polycystic ovarian syndrome or even premature ovarian failure due to work stress are gradually increasing. The increasing trend of male infertility in recent years is more obvious than female infertility. Sperm are more fragile than eggs. Elevated local temperatures, such as prolonged driving and welding work, can cause less and weaker sperm, and even putting laptops on your lap and cell phones in your trouser pockets can affect the growth of sperm. High work stress interferes with the body’s endocrine secretion, resulting in lower sperm count, lower sperm motility and abnormal sperm morphology, thus reducing male fertility. The effects of a deteriorating environment on fertility should not be ignored either. Pollution includes the environment, diet and furniture and decoration materials, which are all factors that pose a threat to fertility.
