How soon can you have intercourse after celiac disease surgery

In general, patients can have intercourse after 8 weeks of cervical surgery, but it depends on the patient’s recovery and needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis, and no generalization can be made. For patients with asymptomatic celiac disease, no special treatment is usually needed. Daily care, keeping the vulva clean and regular review at the gynecologist’s office is sufficient. However, some patients with cervical erosion may have obvious symptoms, such as increased vaginal discharge and bleeding during intercourse, which require physical therapy such as laser, microwave, or cervical leep knife surgery. Patients are not allowed to have intercourse for 8 weeks after the procedure to avoid inducing infection which is detrimental to recovery. Patients need to pay attention to personal hygiene after the operation, wash the vulva with warm water every day, and avoid intercourse during menstruation, clean yourself and do not engage in unclean sex.
