These conditions indicate that the child should be wormed

In life, many parents judge whether their children have worms in the abdomen based only on whether their babies have “worm spots” on their faces or whether they grind their teeth at night and whether they have abdominal pain, which is not a comprehensive judgment. Most people with intestinal parasites have no symptoms, but some may show the following abnormalities: 1. children often cry out for stomach pain, especially around the umbilicus, and like to rub and press, and still play as usual when they are not in pain; 2. children are prone to wake up at night, grind their teeth and drool; 3. children often have pale white, almost round or oval-shaped patches on the skin of the face and neck, with tiny grayish-white scales on top, which is commonly known as “worm spots”; 4. “4. For no apparent reason, the child’s skin often repeatedly appears “wind bumps” (urticaria); 5. 6. The worms compete with the child for nutrition in the intestinal tract, which can affect the child’s growth and development, leading to malnutrition and anemia; 7. When the larvae migrate, coughing, chest pain, asthma, dyspnea, increased body temperature, itchy skin, and increased eosinophilic leukocytes in the blood can occur; 8. 9. Pinworms often cause itching around the anus or perineum of the child, especially at night, and the child cries and is restless, affecting sleep. The most reliable evidence of the presence or absence of worms is that the child has recently excreted worms. If there is no history of worm excretion, then a stool microscopy is necessary. If eggs are found, it means that roundworms have been parasitized in the intestine. Warm advice If infected with parasites, it will cause considerable damage to the child’s body, so if you find that your child shows signs of infection, you must check and deworm in time. Generally, deworming treatment is done after the age of 2. The time of deworming is appropriate in autumn and winter after the peak of infection, and it is best to take the medicine before bedtime on an empty stomach. Pay attention to a light diet and eat less fatty foods.
