What do I need to prepare for my overactive bladder appointment?

If you suspect that you may have overactive bladder disorder, you can fill out the following urinary diary to record the number of trips to the bathroom at different times of the day, measure the volume of urine each time with a measuring cup, note what you drink and how much you drink, whether you feel sudden urgency or leakage, and whether these problems prevent you from attending certain activities.

A complete urine diary for three consecutive days will help your doctor to make a correct diagnosis.
