The difference between myopia and pseudomyopia

  Overview
”Some scholars refer to pseudomyopia as “regulatory myopia”, but in fact, pseudomyopia is not myopia, and after ciliary paralytic drops, the distance vision can be restored to normal.
The clinical manifestations of the two conditions are similar.
Similarities and differences between the two
  Myopia
  Pseudomyopia
  Similarities
Reduced farsightedness, normal near vision, concave lens can improve vision
  Difference
  Similarity
  Point
  Nature
  Refractive error
  Adjustment spasm
  Triggers
  No obvious cause
Usually occurs after working at close range for a long time
  Refractive state (small pupil optometry)
Low or high degree, stationary or slowly developing
Generally low and unstable in degree
  After ciliary muscle paralysis
Still myopic, unchanged or mildly reduced myopia
  Orthopia or mild hyperopia
Visual acuity unchanged or slightly elevated
  Visual acuity returns to normal
  Treatment
  Refractive correction required
Eye rest, ciliary muscle paralytics if necessary
