Can soft chancre heal on its own?

  It is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Haemophilus ducreyi and requires aggressive treatment and cannot be cured on its own.  The main symptoms are one or more painful genital ulcers with enlarged inguinal lymph nodes and local inflammation, which can be markedly red, swollen and painful, and in severe cases, purulent changes. The disease cannot heal on its own and requires active antibiotic treatment after the onset of the disease, otherwise a variety of complications occur, such as inguinal lymphadenitis, glansitis, imbricated prepuce, urethral fistula, etc., which can even affect reproductive function, and a few patients can still recur at the original lesion after healing.  In addition, patients should avoid intercourse during treatment, pay attention to regular water intake, regular urination, balanced diet, avoid alcohol, ensure local hygiene, change underwear regularly and disinfect underwear with high temperature.
