The disease cannot heal on its own and requires active antibiotic treatment after the onset of the disease, otherwise a variety of complications occur, such as inguinal lymphadenitis, glansitis, imbricated prepuce, urethral fistula, etc., which can even affect reproductive function, and a few patients can still recur at the original lesion after healing.
