Photorejuvenation l In 1995, Dr. Bitter proposed the concept of PhotoFacial technology: the specific spectrum penetrates the skin and is preferentially absorbed by the pigmented groups in the tissue and the hemoglobin in the blood vessels, destroying the dilated blood vessels, pigmented groups and pigmented cells and producing skin rejuvenation effects; the photothermal and photochemical effects generated by the strong light cause the deep collagen fibers and elastic fibers to proliferate and rearrange. Multiple treatments can gradually restore skin elasticity and improve the thickness of the stratum corneum. The photorejuvenation is a non-invasive/minimally invasive treatment that was applied to clinical practice in 1998. Photorejuvenation indications: l Treatment of various skin pigmentation diseases: freckles, chloasma, solar keratosis, etc. l Treatment of skin vascular diseases: capillary dilation, skin flushing, erythema rosacea, etc. l Improvement of skin texture changes caused by early and mid-term photoaging and age aging, such as: enlarged pores, laxity, fine wrinkles, chapping, etc. But the effect is slightly worse and basically replaced by fractional laser treatment which has better effect! Photorejuvenation treatment for freckles is currently the preferred method of beauty and skin care. The more serious the freckles are, the better the efficacy is, and usually one rejuvenation treatment will have obvious effects. If you want to get a good and lasting white skin, you need to treat 3-5 times and pay attention to post-operative sun protection; photorejuvenation also has a better effect on melasma, but the treatment needs low dose and multiple times (preferably more than 5-7 times). If you can’t do a good job of sun care, it’s recommended that you don’t do photorejuvenation treatment to avoid wasting it! The first time you are treated, the burning sensation is particularly obvious, but after the second time the burning sensation can be significantly relieved; 2. Some people need to contact the treating physician if they blister after facial treatment. Oral prednisone and topical burns cream can be used for treatment. The cost of photorejuvenation treatment is high, at least $1000 per session and at least $5,000 cumulatively. If you are hoping for obvious results from one treatment and do not intend to have 2, 3 or 4 treatments, it is advisable not to have the treatment. This is a waste of money and the long-term results are not good. It is best to make an agreement with your physician: once a month for 3-7 consecutive treatments to get visible results, and then continue the maintenance treatment once a year or every six months. Ten years later, your skin will be fairer and softer than before the first treatment, wrinkle reduction! 4, sunlight exposure can cause skin aging or even skin cancer, the sun’s ultraviolet rays can pass through clouds, glass windows, with hats, sunscreen and umbrella effect is good. The skin is so soft that it needs lifelong sun protection. Photorejuvenation treatment can improve skin quality and restore skin elasticity. 5. Photorejuvenation takes about half an hour for each treatment. Take photos before the first treatment and cold compress with ice water for about one hour after the procedure. Please make an appointment in advance and pay attention to the consultation time (before 10am, before 4pm)! 6. For normal skin care and maintenance, please refer to the articles “Scientific care of skin” and “Human aesthetics traceability”. If you are young (around 20 years old), you should take good care of your skin, especially to protect it from the sun and choose the right cosmetics, except if you are born with freckles, you don’t need to do photorejuvenation! 7. We hope that every customer understands the knowledge of photorejuvenation before treatment, and usually does a good job of skin cleaning, moisturizing, sunscreen, anti-aging, and has a good mood and attitude to actively cooperate with the treatment!
