Intracranial arachnoid cyst is one of the most common diseases in infants and children. It is often asymptomatic in the early stages, but compresses brain tissue, affects brain development, and can be secondary to epilepsy. In the past, the disease was mostly observed and treated after the onset of symptoms. With the increasing awareness of the disease, most asymptomatic intracranial arachnoid cysts should also be treated aggressively internationally in recent years. We use neuroendoscopic surgery to treat intracranial arachnoid cysts with good efficacy and minimal trauma. We use an incision about 2-3 cm long and drill a hole through the skull to open the cyst to the surrounding brain pool endoscopically, so that the fluid in the cyst can flow into the surrounding brain pool and participate in the cerebrospinal fluid circulation, and the cyst gradually shrinks.
