Chickenpox can appear in the throat and also in mucous membranes such as the vulva. The rash may appear 1-2 days before the appearance of the rash, and may show general discomfort such as low-grade fever, fatigue, anorexia, and chills. The rash first occurs on the trunk, gradually spreads to the head, then to the face and finally to the extremities, usually with more skin on the trunk and less on the extremities and face, with a centripetal distribution. The rash starts as a pinkish rash that turns into a papule after a few hours and then into a herpes after a few hours. There is some redness at the base of the rash, and the overall duration of the disease is 1-2 weeks. During the course of the disease, macules, papules, herpes, and crusted rash can be seen at the same time, and the rash can be seen on the mucous membranes of the oral pharynx or vulva.
