How bipolar disorder heals itself

Bipolar disorder, a serious mental disorder, has very little chance of self-healing, and systematic treatment in a regular hospital is recommended. For treatment, patients can start with some awareness. For the manic state of bipolar disorder, mind stabilizers, such as lithium salts, sodium valproate, carbamazepine, etc., are given. For patients with psychotic symptoms such as excitement, agitation, aggressive behavior and hallucinations and delusions, a combination of mind stabilizers and antipsychotics, such as olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone, clozapine, etc., can also be used early in the treatment. Benzodiazepines with sedative-hypnotic effects, such as clonazepam and alprazolam, can also be used. When patients develop depressive symptoms, antidepressants should be applied with caution, because most of them can turn into a manic state or accelerate the cycle of mania and depression. Based on the application of mood stabilizers or atypical antipsychotics, antidepressants with less transient effect, such as bupropion, paroxetine and fluoxetine, can be combined.
