The most common causes of chronic pulmonary heart disease

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is the most common cause of chronic pulmonary heart disease. About 80% to 90% of chronic pulmonary heart disease is caused by slow obstructive pulmonary disease, followed by bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension and other diseases. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease generally develops from chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Although the condition of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease cannot be completely reversed, the progression of the disease can be slowed down by treatment measures such as smoking cessation, standardised medication and oxygen intake.
