DIC refers to disseminated intravascular coagulation abnormality, which is a clinical syndrome characterized by hemorrhage and microcirculatory failure on the basis of many diseases in which pathogenic factors damage the microvascular system, leading to coagulation activation, systemic microvascular thrombosis, massive depletion of coagulation factors and secondary hyperfibrinolysis. The common causes of DIC include severe infection, malignant tumor, obstetric critical illnesses such as amniotic fluid embolism, uterine rupture, placenta previa, as well as surgery and trauma, severe poisoning, blood transfusion reaction, and transplantation rejection. The treatment of DIC consists of treating the underlying disease and eliminating the causative factors on the one hand, and symptomatic treatment such as anticoagulation, platelet and coagulation factor replacement therapy, thrombolytic therapy on the other. The mortality rate of DIC is as high as 31~80%, and the main cause of death is multi-organ failure. DIC requires early detection and timely treatment in order to minimize the adverse effects of DIC, please consult the doctor in time and take active treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
