Women with third degree cervical erosion only need to go to the hospital for regular cervical TCT and HPV screening and, if necessary, routine white belt examination for the presence of significant vaginitis, followed by symptomatic vaginal topical treatment. The cause of cervical erosion third degree may be physiological columnar epithelial ectasia caused by estrogen stimulation in the body, chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia caused by high risk HPV infection, or even cervical cancer. Therefore, in order to rule out cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer after the development of cervical erosion degree three, cervical TCT and HPV are needed for exclusion, and as long as the cervical erosion is not caused by cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer, surgical treatment is not required. If there is no abnormal leucorrhea or bleeding after intercourse, no special treatment is needed, but HPV and TCT screening can be done regularly. For women who do not need to have children, physical therapy such as laser or freezing can be considered.
