There is no Yiqi Zhongtong Pill, it should be Zhongzhong Yiqi Pill. Tonifying Zhong Yi Qi Pill is a proprietary Chinese medicine that can treat conditions such as diarrhea caused by weak spleen qi (weakness of spleen qi) and middle qi subsidence (deficiency of spleen and stomach qi, with manifestations such as the organs falling down). It is composed of Astragalus, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Radix Bupleurum Chinense, Radix Aspergillus, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, and Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, and is effective in tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi, and elevating yang and lifting up sinking (lifting up yang qi of the body in order to lift up sinking organs). It is mainly used for the treatment of diarrhea, yin ting (prolapse of the uterus or even out of the vaginal opening in women) and prolapse of the anus caused by weakness of the spleen and stomach and the sinking of qi in the middle of the body, with the patients mainly showing symptoms of fatigue and tiredness, loose stools and bloating with little food. The adverse reactions and contraindications of Yiqi Zhongtong Pill are not clear. Avoid indigestible food during the medication; cold and fever patients are not suitable for taking; hypertension and other chronic diseases should be taken under the guidance of a doctor.
