Is HPV type 44 infection serious?

HPV44 infection is a human papillomavirus infection that suggests the possibility of precancerous lesions, which is judged by the severity of the condition of the cervix. If there is no cervical erosion, no contact bleeding, no frequent leucorrhea, and only a simple HPV44 infection, then vaginal medication can be administered to help HPV turn negative, which is not serious. However, when HPV44 positivity is accompanied by vulvovaginal itching and even contact bleeding, cervical erosion, or cervical nuchal cyst, a cervical biopsy should be performed if possible to rule out the possibility of precancerous lesions. As long as the result is within the normal range, it is not serious and regular medication is sufficient. HPV infection does not necessarily mean cancer, so don’t be overly nervous and stressed out.
