At present, the Department of Infectious Diseases has developed into a complete and independent clinical department. It has independent consultation area, registration room, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology department and isolation ward to provide better and more convenient services for patients. There are 12 doctors at all levels, including 1 chief physician, 1 deputy chief physician, 7 attending physicians and 3 resident physicians, including 8 medical doctors and 2 medical masters. There are 20 nurses, including 4 nurse practitioners in charge and 8 nurse practitioners. The main work of each outpatient clinic and ward of our department is as follows: Hepatitis Clinic: general and specialist clinics are set up. We treat various diseases including acute and chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, alcoholic liver disease, drug-related liver damage, immune liver disease and other liver function abnormalities. He specializes in the standardized antiviral treatment of hepatitis B and C. Routinely performs liver aspiration and pathological diagnosis. We provide consultation on various hepatitis and liver disease related knowledge, such as management of hepatitis B carriers, prevention of hepatitis B, laboratory interpretation and differential diagnosis of abnormal transaminases and elevated bilirubin. Consultation and guidance on fertility issues and mother-to-child interruption for patients with liver disease, such as diet, exercise, and emotional management. Fever Clinic: 24-hour consultation. Responsible for the treatment of patients with fever and screening for infectious diseases. The clinic is responsible for the medical treatment of various infectious diseases of the respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, skin and soft tissue, and central nervous system, as well as the screening of various infectious diseases. He specializes in the identification of febrile diseases and the treatment of infectious fever. She conducts rapid influenza tests and tests for various pathogens, and guides clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as rational drug use. The annual outpatient volume is among the highest in Beijing. Intestinal Clinic: 24-hour consultation. It is responsible for the identification and treatment of acute diarrhea and the screening, diagnosis, isolation and treatment of intestinal infectious diseases. We treat bacterial dysentery and other viral and bacterial infectious diarrhea. Since 2007, we have opened a ward with 20 beds. Since the opening of the ward, we have successfully treated many patients, specializing in common diseases such as viral hepatitis, drug-induced hepatitis, and community-acquired pneumonia. We have also accumulated much valuable experience in the diagnosis and treatment of unexplained fever and difficult and critical cases, and have given clear diagnosis to many patients with unknown out-of-hospital diagnosis, such as tuberculous meningitis, necrotizing lymphadenitis, aortitis, dengue fever, brucellosis, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, adult still disease, etc. Under the leadership of Director Xu Jie, our department always pays attention to strengthening discipline construction, with the main direction of liver disease diagnosis and treatment and fever pending diagnosis and treatment.
