According to international doctors’ statistics, dental implants generally last about 10-20 years in the oral cavity, and our department now observes that patients can use them for about 17 years. The main determining factors are: 1) the patient’s oral hygiene (most important) 2) the patient’s diet (do not eat too hard food) 3) the patient’s systemic factors (whether or not the patient has diabetes). If a dental implant falls out after a period of use in the patient’s mouth, it can still be restored with another implant, so the patient should not worry about it.
