Acute myocardial infarction, what to do

Acute myocardial infarction can be treated with general therapy, drug therapy, interventional therapy and surgery.
1. General treatment: It is recommended that patients rest in bed and monitor vital signs. When chest pain, chest tightness, dyspnea and other symptoms occur, it is recommended to stop activities immediately, and oral nitroglycerin and other drugs can be taken, and when respiratory arrest occurs, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be carried out immediately.
2. Medications: isosorbide nitrate, nitroglycerin, which can dilate coronary arteries and improve blood supply to the heart. Metoprolol, atenolol and other drugs can reduce myocardial oxygen consumption. Aspirin and clopidogrel can be used to reduce platelet aggregation, inhibit thrombosis and avoid further increase of thrombus.
3. Interventional therapy: the main treatment method is percutaneous coronary intervention.
4. Surgical treatment: including stenting and coronary artery bypass grafting.
The above drugs are recommended to be used under the guidance of a doctor. When acute myocardial infarction occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
