In women with left lower abdominal pain, a basic gynecologic examination should be performed to understand the source of the pain, whether there is only a single left lower abdominal pain or both lower abdominal pains, which can be obtained through a basic gynecologic examination. After that, a basic pelvic ultrasound should be performed to find out if there is any abnormal mass in the pelvis. If there is no mass, but simply pain in the left lower abdomen, and the possibility of pregnancy is ruled out, it is possible that this is a pelvic inflammatory disease. A comprehensive antibiotic treatment based on drug sensitivity test can be performed to control the occurrence and development of pelvic inflammatory disease. If there is a pelvic mass and pain in the lower left abdomen, consider the possibility of ovarian cyst torsion or ovarian cyst rupture, and surgical intervention may be appropriate if necessary.
