There are many causes of early carpal tunnel syndrome, such as long-term manual labor, tendon sheath cysts and hemodialysis. 1. Long-term manual labor: mostly found in manual laborers who use their hands a lot. Years of labor may cause the transverse carpal ligament of the wrist to hyperplasia and thicken, which may lead to the compression of the median nerve, resulting in numbness of the hand, muscle atrophy of the greater interosseous area, and inflexibility of the hand, and so on. 2. Tendon sheath cysts: some people may develop tendon sheath cysts in the carpal tunnel due to various reasons, which compress the median nerve and cause carpal tunnel syndrome. 3. Hemodialysis: Patients on hemodialysis suffer from arteriovenous fistula damage to blood vessels and metabolic disorders in the body, leading to the accumulation of amyloid substances in the carpal tunnel and compression of the median nerve, resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome.
