If blood pressure of 180/90 mmHg occurs, nifedipine, nimodipine or captopril should be given sublingually immediately. Lower the blood pressure to below 180mmHg for high pressure and below 90mmHg for low pressure, and then lower the blood pressure gradually and slowly to normal. Also note whether the patient has dizziness, headache, headache, nausea, or vomiting. If any of these symptoms are present, it indicates that the patient has hypertensive encephalopathy. The patient should be immediately admitted to the hospital for cranial CT examination to clarify the presence of acute cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage. Adjust the dose of the hypertensive medication taken daily or increase the type of medication to be sure to keep the blood pressure within the normal range.
