How long does it take to recover from a spill of frying oil on the face?

How long it takes to recover from a frying oil spill on the face needs to be judged by the severity of the burn, and cannot be generalized. Usually, oil splashes on the face do not cause particularly serious burns, and first-degree burns generally do not require special treatment. If a shallow second-degree burn is reached, it can usually be recovered within 2 weeks, and if it is a deep second-degree burn, it will take about 3-4 weeks to return to normal. If oil is splashed on your face while frying, you should first rinse with plenty of cool running water to take away some of the heat and avoid blister formation. If the burn is more serious and blisters have formed, you can go to the hospital burn unit and apply a sterile syringe to remove the blister fluid and keep the blister skin, apply local disinfection with iodophor and then apply anti-inflammatory medication to prevent secondary infection. The skin of the newly healed wound is delicate and should be protected by keeping the area clean, paying attention to sun protection, not eating spicy and stimulating food, and applying anti-scar and repair gel as prescribed by the doctor to prevent pigmentation on the face.
