What is itching in the anus?

  Itching of the anal canal, perianal skin and perineum is called anal pruritus, which is a common anal disease that differs from itching of other parts of the body and is characterized by intense itching and a long duration of the disease. It is mostly seen in young and middle-aged people between 20 and 40 years old. At first, it is usually limited to mild itching of the skin around the anus, but if it is not cured for a long time, the itching may spread to the scrotum or scrotum lips, especially in the perineum, where the itching is most severe. The itchiness is worse at night and is aggravated by the humid environment, sometimes like insects crawling and ants walking, sometimes like mosquitoes biting and roasting, making it impossible to sleep, restless and unbearable. Anal itching is a symptom of many diseases Many people have had the uncomfortable symptom of anal itching, but they are embarrassed to go to the hospital because of the face problem.  Itchy anus is partly caused by parasitic infections, poor hygiene and eating habits, and partly caused by hemorrhoids, constipation, anal fissures, viral infections, sexually transmitted infections, etc. Don’t ignore it because it is just itchy anus, which delays the treatment of real diseases.  The itchy anus can be caused by the lack of mucous membrane secretion near the anus, and can be caused by good or poor hygiene habits. For anal itching due to diet and hygiene habits, physicians recommend avoiding cola, coffee, chocolate, wine, tea, wearing breathable cotton, wide bottoms, and not using cotton pads for female patients, and washing several times a day, especially after defecation, using less soap to avoid washing off the mucous membrane, using a hair dryer to dry after washing, and then applying medicine.  The more important thing to note is the itchy anus caused by viral infections and sexually transmitted infections.
