Vaccinations do not generally cause diabetes. Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by chronic hyperglycemia caused by multiple etiologies. The pathogenesis and causes of the disease are quite complex. However, based on existing scientific research, it is possible to deduce some of the factors that lead to type 1 diabetes as well as type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes, for the most part, is an autoimmune disease. It is caused by a combination of environmental and genetic factors, which can be categorized as chemical toxins, viral infections or dietary factors. Type 2 diabetes is also caused by a combination of environmental and genetic factors, including lifestyle, physical inactivity, chemical toxicity, aging, and over-nutrition. Vaccines have their own indications and exclusions, and should be administered under the supervision of a physician if vaccination is required for a related condition.
