1. The couple must provide the original and copies of three authentic and valid certificates: ID card, marriage certificate and pregnancy certificate. If you do not have this document, you must produce a certificate from the street or township family planning department that you have not yet had a child, with the red seal of the family planning department.
2.From the time you start to receive fertility treatment, both partners should pay attention to nutrition, rest, physical fitness, disease prevention and careful use of drugs.
Male partner: Quit smoking and drinking; do not take sauna or bath with too hot water.
Female partner: don’t use cosmetics, such as perfume, lipstick, mousse, and don’t perm and dye your hair.
3.In the whole treatment cycle, except for the medication prescribed by the doctor in charge, no other medication can be used, nor can you change the medication and stop it at will, if there is any leakage or overdose, please make sure to explain to your doctor in charge in time.
4.Our office hours are 8:00am-12:00pm, 2:30pm-5:30pm (3:00pm-6:00pm in summer). Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, we do not accept any consultation.
5.Trial transfer: A very soft tube is used to probe the depth of the uterine cavity to find out whether there is any obstruction to the inner cervical opening and the direction of the catheter during embryo transfer, so that a smooth embryo transfer can be performed later. The procedure is performed in the middle to late menstrual period and the urine is held for one hour before the procedure. For a week after the operation, it is forbidden to take a tub bath, vaginal irrigation and intercourse, and to take oral antibiotics for 3 days.
6. Endoscopy: If your doctor in charge thinks you need this test, please come to the hospital within 24 hours of your menstrual period for scraping and pathological examination.
Precautions after starting the cycle.
1.If you are on the long protocol and still no menstrual flow for more than 14 days, then please contact your supervising doctor.
2. Please do not have intercourse when you enter the IVF cycle.
3.The female partner should follow the doctor’s requirement to inject the ovulation pills in full and on time, do not reduce or stop the dosage without authorization.
4.The male partner should obey the doctor’s instruction for sperm emission.
5.Nutrition: high calorie, high protein, high fat, high vitamin, comprehensive and balanced diet. More intake of milk, soy milk, yogurt, moderate consumption of light salt water, fruit juice. Prevent constipation and diarrhea.
6.Sleep: Ensure 8 hours or more of high quality sleep every night, if sleep is not good, please make a reasonable rest time, rest on time every night, drink hot milk, hot water soaking feet before bed to promote sleep. Please do not take sedative drugs without permission.
7. Emotion:: Adjust your mind, arrange your work, cooperate with the examination and treatment calmly, communicate more between couples, encourage each other, face difficulties together, and maintain a good state of mind. If you have any questions about the treatment, please ask the treating doctor in time.
8. Disease prevention: vaginal discharge increases slightly after medication, keep the vulva clean and dry, wear cotton underwear and do not use pads.
9. Occasional dry mouth, fever, drowsiness, nausea, slight breast rise and lower abdominal discomfort after medication.
10.With the growth of follicles, the ovaries will increase in size. Dress loosely and comfortably, move smoothly and safely, do not exercise strenuously or increase abdominal pressure suddenly to avoid ovarian torsion or ovarian rupture.
11.If you are sick, you should take medication under the guidance of our doctor.
12.Oocyte retrieval: the procedure is performed under the guidance of ultrasound and pain relief injection is given before the procedure, the pain during the procedure is minimal, do not be nervous; keep a good mood and cooperate with the doctor, the procedure will be completed successfully.
Before egg retrieval: The female partner should wash her vulva with warm water in the morning and abstain from food and water before surgery to prevent vomiting after the injection of dulcolax. Male partner: Take a bath the night before the operation, cut fingernails carefully and clean hands and external genitalia. In the morning of the operation day, clean the vulva, change clean underwear, bring your ID card and marriage certificate to the center for sperm retrieval and have breakfast.
Precautions after egg retrieval.
1. After the operation, due to a small amount of oozing fluid around the ovaries, you may have slight abdominal pain, back pain and other discomfort. Please rest in bed for 1-2 days and move gently and smoothly in daily activities such as turning over and relieving yourself. In case of sudden onset of severe abdominal pain and fever, contact the center promptly.
2. Prohibit strenuous activities, bathing, intercourse and vaginal douching.
Embryo transfer precautions.
1.Embryo transfer is a very careful process, and most of the assisted conception patients feel no pain during the process, but many people are nervous, which is not good for embryo implantation, because nervousness will cause uterine contraction, thus affecting the result of assisted conception, so you should relax as much as possible during embryo transfer.
2. Pay attention to rest and keep emotionally happy. Because when people are happy, the central nervous system is excited and normal digestion, absorption, secretion and excretion are carried out in the human body, maintaining a vigorous metabolism, which is conducive to embryo implantation.
3. Avoid mental tension, no need to be fully bedridden for 24 hours, and live a regular and orderly life.
4.Light activities are not affected, avoid mechanical stimulation of the abdomen; limit strenuous exercise, such as bumps, violent coughing, vomiting, exertion, abdominal pressure or bruising, a position maintained for too long, lifting heavy objects, etc. Because it may cause uterine contraction.
5.If abdominal distension, low urine and loss of appetite occur about one week after embryo transfer, you need to return to the hospital or contact the center in time. If you have vaginal bleeding 7-10 days after the transfer, please adhere to the medication, do not stop it without permission, and contact the center in time.
6, diet should be light, reasonable meals, avoid constipation and diarrhea; abstain from sexual intercourse and tub bath for 2 weeks.
7, progesterone injection is an oil, should not be absorbed, easy to form hard knots in the injection site, coupled with the long injection time, need to do the following preventive measures: alternating sides, long needle deep intramuscular injection, local hot compress 30 minutes a day, hot compress towel pay attention to boiling sterilization, the water temperature is not too high, to avoid local infection, burns. Or use thin potato slices to apply.
Prevent the occurrence of ovarian hyperstimulation.
1, high-risk subjects are young, polycystic ovaries, short, thin, high number of follicles, sensitive body patients.
2. Pay attention to the intake of high protein food, you can drink winter melon red bean soup, soy milk, milk, yogurt, juice, etc.
3.Observe the amount of urine, vomiting and the amount of food eaten, the amount of soup drank in.
4, record weight, abdominal circumference (daily morning after regular urination and defecation to measure weight; abdominal circumference: the umbilicus as the starting and ending point).
