Pulsating tinnitus after pregnancy is mostly considered a possibility of anaemia, as pregnant women are at a high risk of iron deficiency anaemia. Severe anaemia can produce mild, reversible pulsating tinnitus, associated with a systolic murmur in the carotid artery, and is often accompanied by pallor, weakness, fatigue and difficulty breathing after activity.
In addition, post-pregnancy predisposition to endocrine disruption can also lead to pulsatile tinnitus.
