Can premature contractions be cured?

Premature beats, i.e., preterm contractions, are hopefully curable with active treatment.
1. Premature contraction refers to the beating signals emitted from abnormal beating points other than the sinus node, which cause the heart to beat prematurely, including atrial pre-systole, atrioventricular junctional pre-systole, ventricular pre-systole and so on. According to the frequency of episodes, they are also categorized as episodic and frequent.
2. Usually, for episodic preterm contractions, no treatment is needed if there are no obvious clinical symptoms. For frequent premature contractions, antiarrhythmic drugs can be used for reversal, commonly used drugs include amiodarone, verapamil, diltiazem and so on. Catheter-based radiofrequency ablation may be considered if the patient is symptomatic, not responding well to antiarrhythmic medications, or cannot tolerate medications.
It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to identify the cause of the disease and actively treat it. No matter what kind of preterm contraction is found, it can be effectively controlled after active and standardized treatment.
