Contraindications to intervertebral foraminoscopic treatment

Intervertebral foraminoscopy is a fully endoscopic procedure with a limited range of effective surgical management, so patient selection must be strict, otherwise it may be ineffective or cause unnecessary damage. Specific contraindications are as follows: 1. Multi-segmental disc herniation. 2.Spinal instability. 3, Central lumbar spinal stenosis. 4, spinal tumors, tuberculosis or nerve root lesions. When these conditions occur, we should not undergo laminectomy, but we can consider minimally invasive surgery with small incisions or minimally invasive discoscopic surgery and other methods, which can achieve the same minimally invasive results.
