Experience in the treatment of acute pancreatitis

Acute pancreatitis is one of the common acute abdominal conditions in adults, but the incidence is relatively low in children. The etiology is generally considered to be mainly due to pancreatic reflux and damage to the pancreas itself by pancreatic enzymes. According to the pathological changes, there are acute edematous type and acute hemorrhagic necrotizing type of pancreatitis, the latter is dangerous, often fulminant, with many complications and high mortality rate. The disease has an acute onset, mainly manifested by abdominal pain, abdominal distension, signs of peritonitis, and severe systemic inflammatory response. Shock and multiple organ failure can occur within a short period of time. At the beginning of the disease, death is mainly due to infection, shock and multi-organ failure, and at the later stage, death is mainly due to repeated infection and consumption.
