How soon can you recover from membranous nephropathy stage 2?

Stage II membranous nephropathy is a more common type of pathology within the nephrotic syndrome and is usually difficult to cure completely, but remission can be achieved with treatment. The main clinical manifestations of stage II membranous nephropathy are massive proteinuria, edema, hyperlipidemia, and hypoproteinemia. Treatment requires hormones, immune agents or cytotoxic drugs. The more common treatment plan is low-dose hormones combined with tacrolimus, on top of which patients can take Chinese herbal soup, or oral Bailing capsules to protect renal function, or ACEI-type drugs to reduce urinary protein. Along with the massive application of hormones, the patient also needs to apply gastric mucosal protective agents to prevent the occurrence of gastric ulcers, as well as calcium supplements to prevent osteoporosis. If the patient is well maintained and has no other concomitant diseases, the treatment can generally achieve significant improvement in 3-4 months and can effectively control the development of the disease, but it is usually difficult to achieve a complete cure. During the application of drug treatment, patients need to pay attention to avoid overexertion, prevent cold and flu, and choose a low-salt, low-fat, high-quality, low-protein diet.
